Seachtain na Gaeilge 2023

Gaelscoil Laighean celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge by engaging in plenty of special activities.

Naíonáin bheaga and Naíonáin mhóra took part in Teddy Bear’s Picnic. The children and the teddies enjoyed the sun, the lunch and the company.

Rang 1 and rang 2 enjoyed a special trip to Gaelscoil Áine. The children spent the day doing art, yoga and music with the pupils in Gaelscoil Áine.

We finished the celebrations with a céilí mór. The school was very grateful to the trad musicians who played our favorite Irish songs for us. We all wore green clothes for St. Patrick’s Day.
